How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    KS2 Teacher

    Location: NW10, London
    Start Date: January 2027
    Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
    Salary: MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)

    A welcoming mainstream primary school in NW10 is looking for a passionate and committed KS2 Teacher to join its teaching team, with the opportunity to teach either Year 4 or Year 5.     About the Role

    Teach a Year 4 or Year 5 class

    *

    Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum

    *

    Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

    Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly

    *

    Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs

    *

    Develop strong and positive relationships with pupils

    *

    Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and the wider school team

    *

    Communicate effectively with parents and carers

    *

    Contribute to the wider life of the school and its community

    *

    Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development

    About You

    *

    QTS is essential

    *

    Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 4 or Year 5

    *

    Confident planning and delivering high-quality lessons

    *

    Strong classroom management skills

    *

    Able to differentiate effectively to meet individual pupil needs

    *

    Warm, enthusiastic and committed to pupil development

    *

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    *

    Passionate about teaching and creating a positive learning environment

    *

    Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
