How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

RESTAURANT & BAR MANAGER - Luxury Estate Resort | Wiltshire
Up to £50,000 + Excellent Benefits | Permanent
A rare opportunity to lead Food & Beverage within one of Wiltshire's most prestigious private estates.
New Resource Recruitment are delighted to be representing a highly regarded luxury estate and resort in Wiltshire in the appointment of a Restaurant & Bar Manager.
This is not simply a role overseeing a restaurant.
Our client is looking for a genuine hospitality leader who can take ownership of a premium dining and bar operation, develop a strong team and help shape the next chapter of the guest experience.
The property combines luxury hospitality, destination dining, leisure, spa and events within an exceptional private estate setting. With ambitious plans to further elevate its service proposition, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced F&B professional who wants to make a genuine impact.
    THE ROLE
As Restaurant & Bars Manager, you will have significant responsibility for the performance, standards and people within the restaurant and bar operation.
You'll be a highly visible presence within the business, leading from the front, setting the tone and ensuring that exceptional service is delivered consistently.
Reporting into the senior hotel management team, you'll oversee a sizeable front-of-house operation and work closely with the wider hotel, culinary and events teams to create a seamless guest experience.
This is a role where your leadership will be felt on the floor every day.
    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
    * Take ownership of the day-to-day restaurant and bar operation.
    * Lead, inspire and develop the Food & Beverage team, creating a culture with extremely high standards at all times.
    * Ensure service is polished, attentive and genuinely guest-focused.
    * Be visible and hands-on during key services, leading by example.
    * Take ownership of guest feedback and ensure issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
    * Manage staffing, rotas and resource levels across a busy seven-day operation.
    * Drive commercial performance through effective service, upselling and revenue initiatives.
    * Maintain strong control of labour, stock, waste and departmental costs.
    * Work closely with the culinary team to ensure food and beverage service is seamless.
    * Support the delivery of events, functions and wider resort operations when required.
    * Champion training, coaching and development across the team.
    * Maintain the highest standards of presentation, hygiene, licensing and operational compliance.
    * Act as Duty Manager when required, contributing to the smooth running of the wider property.
    THE PERSON
We're not necessarily looking for someone who has simply held the biggest job title.
We're looking for someone who gets hospitality.
You'll understand that luxury isn't about being formal for the sake of it. It's about anticipation, consistency, attention to detail and making guests feel genuinely looked after.
You'll ideally have experience as a Restaurant Manager, F&B Manager, Senior Restaurant Manager or similar, within a quality hotel, restaurant, resort or destination hospitality environment.
    You'll bring:
    * Strong operational restaurant or F&B management experience.
    * A natural ability to lead, coach and develop people.
    * High personal standards and exceptional attention to detail.
    * A genuine passion for guest experience.
    * Commercial awareness and confidence managing departmental costs.
    * The ability to remain calm and decisive in a busy environment.
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    * A hands-on, visible management style.
    * The ambition to continuously improve standards rather than simply maintain them.
Above all, you'll be someone who takes pride in what they do and wants to be part of creating something exceptional.
    THE PACKAGE
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
    Contract: Permanent, full-time
    Location: Wiltshire
    Additional benefits include:
33 days' annual leave including Bank Holidays
    Meals whilst on duty
    Uniform provided
    Pension scheme
    Free on-site parking
Complimentary access to the estate's attractions during the open season
Highly discounted golf membership following successful completion of probation
Discounted spa treatments and product discounts
    Employee Assistance Programme
    Company events
    Excellent opportunities for career development
Due to the location and nature of the operation, applicants should have their own reliable transport.
    INTERESTED?
If you're an experienced hospitality manager who is ready to take ownership of a high-quality restaurant and bar operation within an exceptional estate environment, we'd love to hear from you.
