How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We're looking for engaging and knowledgeable accountancy professionals to join our expanding training team. Whether you're already an experienced tutor or considering a move into learning and development, full training and ongoing support will be provided.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sharing their expertise, helping others succeed, and bringing technical concepts to life in a way that is practical, relatable, and engaging.

You'll work with aspiring accountants and finance professionals, supporting them through professional qualifications and apprenticeship programmes while helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to progress in their careers.

    What You'll Be Doing

Delivering high-quality training for students pursuing professional accountancy qualifications including AAT, ACCA, ACA and CIMA.
Facilitating learning through both classroom-based and virtual delivery methods.
Coaching and mentoring apprentices undertaking Level 4 and Level 7 programmes.
Monitoring learner progress and providing guidance to help individuals achieve their goals.
Marking assessments and providing constructive feedback that supports ongoing development.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners receive a positive and consistent experience.
Contributing to learner reviews, performance discussions, and programme administration.
Supporting outreach activities, such as careers fairs, employer events, and networking opportunities.
Helping to continuously enhance programme content, delivery methods, and learner outcomes.

    What We're Looking For

    Essential Skills & Experience

Qualified accountant holding ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent Level 7 qualification.
Right to work and reside in the UK.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
Passion for developing and supporting others.
Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Positive, adaptable and proactive approach to work.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.
Comfortable building professional relationships with learners, colleagues and external stakeholders.
Good understanding of professional accountancy qualifications and apprenticeship frameworks.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

    Desirable

Experience working within accountancy, finance, audit, tax or business advisory environments.
Previous experience in training, mentoring, coaching or delivering presentations.
Familiarity with apprenticeship delivery and learner progression processes.
Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups across both commercial and educational settings.

    What You'll Receive

Generous annual leave allowance plus public holidays.
Additional company wellbeing days throughout the year.
    Hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
Equipment provided to support effective home working.
Family-friendly policies and a supportive working culture.
Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential wellbeing support.
    Competitive pension scheme.
    Private medical cover.
Investment in professional development and career growth.
Opportunities to progress within a growing and ambitious organisation.
Access to employee discounts and lifestyle benefits.

Ideal candidate profile: A qualified accountant who enjoys developing others, can explain complex concepts clearly, and is looking to transition their technical expertise into a rewarding education and training career.
