If you are a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for working with bespoke engineering systems and an interest in overseas travel, this role is perfect for you!
In return, you will receive a competitive starting salary of c£40,000 plus overtime opportunities. Salary will increase with length of service and improvement of skillset. Skills & Experience
* HNC or apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering preferred
* Must be flexible with around 60% field-based UK and overseas travel
* Experienced in the assembly and testing of electromechanical systems
* Demonstrable attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset
* Excellent team player with demonstrable experience of leading and mentoring small teams of Engineers
* Must hold a clean UK driving license
* Must hold a valid UK passport
Roles & Responsibilities
* Perform regular on-site installations and servicing of bespoke machinery and equipment
* Ensure all technical issues are resolved within a timely and professional manner
* Schedule site installs, including supporting logistics planning and procurement of materials
* Oversee and assist with assembly of mechanical products and cabling equipment
* Read and interpret engineering diagrams and cable/wiring layout diagrams
* Act as escalation point of contact for all customer related queries and complaints
* Ensure installations are completed within the agreed SLA timescales
* Travel to various customer sites throughout the UK and overseas ensuring that customers are fully aware of the correct usage of products
