Accounts Semi Senior / Senior

A top national firm, commutable from Nottingham, Derby and Mansfield,  are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Semi Senior / Senior to join their team.

This is a varied general practice role, offering the opportunity to work with a portfolio of clients across accounts, tax and management accounts. The firm are open to candidates from Semi Senior through to Senior level, with responsibilities and salary reflecting experience.

The role would suit someone looking to develop their career within practice or a more experienced accountant looking to take on greater responsibility, manage client relationships and support junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of year-end statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
Preparation of management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
Preparation and review of VAT returns, depending on experience
Managing client relationships and responding to queries
Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring deadlines are met
Taking responsibility for a portfolio of clients, with the level of ownership dependent on experience
Reviewing accounts and supporting more junior colleagues where appropriate
Providing guidance and support to junior team members at Senior level
Identifying opportunities to support clients with additional services
Managing workloads effectively and delivering a high standard of client service
