I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Projects division in Bristol, supporting a newly secured £16m retrofit and refurbishment contract.
The project covers four high-rise residential buildings, including cladding renewals, scaffolding, mass climbers and associated refurbishment works.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to take commercial ownership of a major social housing project, working within a small, experienced and supportive commercial team. Established Quantity Surveyors ready to step up are also encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities:
Lead commercial management, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
Maximise contractual entitlement, cash flow and profitability.
Manage subcontractor orders, valuations and client queries.
Identify commercial risks, manage disputes and advise on contractual matters.What we're looking for:
Experience in social housing refurbishment or construction.
Strong commercial, contractual and financial management skills.
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
NEC4 knowledge and retrofit experience are advantageous.
Relevant industry qualification and a full UK driving licence.Salary and benefits:
£60,000-£75,000 salary, depending on experience.
