Working closely with the Head of Estates, you'll manage day-to-day service delivery, directly employed teams and contractors while supporting lifecycle planning, compliance and continuous improvement.
The Role
As the Technical Services Manager (Fabric), you'll:
Manage planned fabric maintenance through Maximo, ensuring statutory and technical standards are met.
Lead staff and contractors, monitoring response times and the quality of completed repairs.
Manage allocated budgets and negotiate with suppliers to deliver cost-effective services.
Coordinate condition surveys, maintenance records and information required for lifecycle planning.
Review contractor RAMS and inspect working practices, quality and safety on site.
Deputise for the Head of Estates when required by the senior management team. About You
To be successful as the Technical Services Manager (Fabric), you'll have:
A City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
Strong technical knowledge of estates, building maintenance, construction or FM services.
The ability to lead, delegate and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and computerised estates management systems.
A full driving licence to support on-call requirements.
Knowledge of statutory maintenance requirements and healthcare technical guidance would be advantageous. What's in it for You?
