SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a welcoming, Ofsted-rated 'Good' primary school in Southwark to recruit a passionate and committed Year 4 Teacher to join their team from January 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic primary teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive, two-form entry school. The position will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is looking for a dedicated teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, inspire pupils and create a positive classroom environment where every child can achieve their full potential.

The Role

Take responsibility for teaching a Year 4 class, delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to support individual achievement.
Establish high expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil engagement.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence and independence.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupils' academic and personal development.The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 4.
Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management.
Can plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that motivate pupils.
Has high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and achievement.
Is a team player who is keen to contribute to the wider school community.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.What the School Offers
