How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Role: Operations Administrator – Temp to Perm

    Location: Buckingham

    Fully office based role

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours per week)

    Salary: £13.50 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Operations Administrator to join our client's busy and successful team in Buckingham on a temporary-to-permanent basis for the right candidate.

This isn't your typical administration role! We're looking for someone who is IT-oriented, confident working with systems and data, and highly skilled in Excel.

If you're the sort of person who enjoys problem-solving, investigating why something isn't working and finding ways to make processes run more efficiently, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Our client is looking for someone with experience using Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Power Apps and SharePoint, alongside advanced Excel skills.

This position will initially be temporary, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right candidate.

    Duties of an Operations Administrator:

Monitor and maintain existing Microsoft Power Automate workflows.
Identify, investigate and troubleshoot system issues and process failures.
Support the use and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics, Power Apps and SharePoint.
Update existing automated workflows, including email addresses, triggers and SharePoint references.
Create, update and maintain Excel spreadsheets, including complex formulas, trackers and data records.
Ensure data held within SharePoint and Microsoft Lists is accurate and up to date.
Investigate data discrepancies and resolve issues across systems.
Respond to email enquiries and provide day-to-day administrative support.
Work closely with internal teams to identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
Accurately document system updates, changes and procedures.
Support the handover of processes and documentation where required.
What we would like from you:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, including confidence working with complex formulas and large volumes of data.
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Power Apps and SharePoint.
Previous administration experience, ideally within a systems-focused, operational or data-driven environment.
Strong IT skills and a genuine interest in technology, systems and process improvement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to investigate and resolve issues independently.
Experience working with Microsoft Power Automate workflows would be highly advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
    Confident using Microsoft 365 applications.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent; a degree would be advantageous but is not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT-savvy Administrator who enjoys working with systems just as much as people. You'll be joining a supportive team where your technical skills, attention to detail and ability to solve problems will really make a difference.

If you're an experienced Administrator with advanced Excel skills and a passion for systems and technology, we'd love to hear from you!
