How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Administrator / Data Entry
    Based in Kingston upon Thames
    Full time, temporary (3 - 4 months)
    £13.00 - £14.45 per hour (40 hour week)

    Are you an organised Administrator with excellent attention to detail? Do you have strong IT skills and experience handling data, updating records, and maintaining accurate information? If so, we may be able to help you!

    We are working with an established repairs and maintenance contractor to recruit an Administrator / Data Entry Clerk to support their team with day-to-day administrative duties and data management.

    This role will suit someone who is methodical, organised, and confident working with large volumes of information. You will play an important part in ensuring data is entered accurately, records are kept up to date, and administrative processes run smoothly.

    As an Administrator / Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and data entry tasks, helping to maintain accurate records and provide essential support to the wider team.

    Essential Criteria:

    Previous experience in an administrative, data entry, or data processing role

    Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

    Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

    Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively

    Ability to handle large volumes of data and maintain accurate records

    Good communication skills, both written and verbal

    A reliable, professional, and proactive approach to work

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Desirable (but not essential):

    Experience within repairs and maintenance, construction, property services, or social housing

    Experience using databases, spreadsheets, or job management systems

    Previous experience updating records, processing information, or maintaining digital files
