Main Purpose of The Role:
To support the Senior Account Management team by assisting in day-to-day management of a portfolio of Major Customers through their end-to-end journey at BCA. Ensuring contractual KPI’s/SLAs are on track and progress chased or raised to relevant stakeholder. Using knowledge and experience of account management as well as strong customer service experience to manage complaints and issues as they arise and within agreed timescales. All the time applying an independent view on what is the best outcome for the business.
To be responsible for collating data and reporting against agreed MI. Feeding back to the Management and customers in a timely manner and to ensure customers’ expectations are met.
This role will grow with the business and will be adapted to apply the workings and learnings to new projects across the team as well as across other BCA sites.
People Management
The Account Manager will also be responsible for overseeing and supporting the operation support team assigned to their accounts. This includes providing day-to-day guidance and direction, allocating and prioritising workloads, monitoring performance and service levels, and ensuring that operational activities are delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Development opportunities lie within this role as we continue to evolve and develop the department so having an open and adaptable mind set to adjust to the ever changing business requirements is essential.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
* Knowledge of BCA services with an understanding of the various BCA business units
* Work with internal technical and operational staff to deliver results
* Identify any patterns, trends, and opportunities for improving performance and working with the team to set and monitor the results
* Responsible for all administration related account management and reporting
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, making quick but informed decisions
* Be organised in your approach and apply structure to achieve daily and weekly tasks
* Confidence to Challenge existing processes and adapt them to make better working practice
* Good report generation and presentation abilities with the ability to interpret and utilise data effectively
* Good I.T. skills including Excel, PowerPoint and internal BCA systems
* Communication skills with the ability to work with colleagues of all levels
* Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects as necessary to meet the business needs and for your own personal development
