We are working with an established and highly successful M&E contractor who are looking to strengthen their estimating team with an experienced Electrical Estimator.

🔧 THE ROLE
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate tenders across a range of commercial M&E projects.
You will work closely with the commercial, estimating and project teams to ensure tenders are delivered accurately, competitively and within agreed deadlines.
Responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed electrical tenders and estimates
*
Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
*
Producing accurate material and labour costs
*
Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
*
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
*
Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
*
Supporting the wider estimating and pre-construction team
*
Working on multi-million-pound commercial projects
*
Ensuring tenders are completed accurately and within deadlines
*
Contributing ideas and experience to help develop the estimating function
👷 ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background within commercial electrical contracting.
You'll ideally have:

Previous experience working as an Electrical Estimator
*
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations
*
Experience pricing and tendering projects
*
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications
*
Good understanding of labour, material and subcontractor costs
*
Strong commercial awareness
*
Excellent attention to detail
*
Good communication and negotiation skills
*
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
*
A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to the growth of the department
