The role will entail taking responsibility for a varied client portfolio of OMBs with minimal supervision, managing the relationships with clients in a highly professional manner and being the first point of contact for client queries.
Whilst advertised as a Senior Accountant role, this is essentially a Client Manager position.
As Senior Accountant managing a portfolio of clients, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparation and filing of limited company accounts in to accounting standards
* Reviewing and signing off work completed by other team members
* Preparation and filing corporation and personal tax returns, and VAT
* Leading client meetings and providing commercially focused advice
* Managing assignments from planning through to completion
* Supporting and actively assisting in the development of junior team members
* Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring deadlines are met
* Working closely with the partners and wider management team

* Have substantial post qualified experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
* Thrive on working independently whilst maintaining strong collaboration and team working
* Experienced in reviewing and signing off accounts

* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the confidence to lead client meetings
* Have the desire and ability to nurture and support less experienced team members
