The Role
As an LCV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of vans and light commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
Duties will include:
* Routine servicing, maintenance and inspections of light commercial vehicles
* Carrying out diagnostics and fault finding using manufacturer equipment
* Mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering and drivetrain components
* Repairs to electrical and electronic vehicle systems
* Vehicle health checks and safety inspections
* Preparation of vehicles for MOT and annual testing
* Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
* Working to manufacturer and company quality standards
* Supporting workshop efficiency and maintaining a safe working environment
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
* Previous experience as an LCV Technician, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Own tools preferred
