PRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on an ongoing contract within a commercial building services environment.
The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring building services equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across mechanical building services.
Maintain and repair boilers, chillers, pumps, fan coil units (FCUs) and air conditioning systems.
Undertake general plumbing repairs, including pipework, water supply systems, leaks and drainage.
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs across mechanical and HVAC systems.
Complete routine inspections and identify potential issues before they develop into major faults.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete service reports.
Liaise with site teams and contractors to ensure maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.Requirements
Previous experience in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar building services role.
Strong mechanical maintenance and plumbing experience within a commercial environment.
Good knowledge of HVAC systems and associated building services equipment.
Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Relevant mechanical or plumbing qualifications are desirable.What's on Offer?
