We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Family Legal Director to play a key leadership role within our highly regarded Family team in Nottingham. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior family lawyer looking to help shape the future of a thriving practice while continuing to work on a broad range of high-quality family matters.
You will lead complex cases, mentor junior lawyers, contribute to the strategic growth of the team and build lasting relationships with clients and referrers.
The Role
As a Family Legal Director, you will:
Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters.
Advise clients on divorce, financial remedies, cohabitation disputes and private children matters.
Handle complex and high-value cases, often involving significant assets.
Support and develop junior lawyers through supervision and mentoring.
Drive business development initiatives and strengthen professional networks.
Contribute to departmental strategy, growth plans and client service standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with substantial experience in Family Law.
Demonstrate strong technical expertise across a broad range of family matters.
Have experience managing complex financial remedy and children cases.
Possess excellent client care and relationship management skills.
Show a proven ability to develop business and generate new opportunities.
Be an effective leader with experience supervising and mentoring others.
Be commercially aware with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
