About the Role
Apex Educ8 is looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in a specialist SEN school in Ealing.
The school supports students aged 4–19 with autism and an associated learning difficulty. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and helping them develop their confidence, independence and learning skills.
You’ll work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, helping students engage with classroom activities and feel safe, supported and encouraged throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and small-group support to students with autism and associated learning difficulties.
*
Support students with classroom activities, communication and engagement in learning.
*
Follow individual learning plans and guidance from teaching staff.
*
Help maintain a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.
*
Encourage students to develop their independence, confidence and social skills.
*
Support positive behaviour and follow the school's safeguarding procedures.
*
Communicate effectively with teachers and other support staff about students' needs and progress.
What We're Looking For

Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs.

An understanding of autism and the support students with additional learning needs may require.
