This is an excellent opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys helping young learners build confidence, develop essential skills and transition successfully into Key Stage 1.
What will you be doing?
As a Year 1 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom.
Monitoring progress and adapting lessons to meet pupils' needs.
Supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.
Encouraging independence, curiosity and positive behaviour.
Building strong relationships with parents and colleagues.What we're looking for
The successful Year 1 Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous KS1 teaching experience.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A creative, adaptable and enthusiastic approach.
High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour.
