Role Overview:
As a self-employed Personal Fitness Trainer, you will operate as an independent fitness professional, designing and delivering customized training programs, conducting one-on-one and group fitness sessions, and managing your own client roster and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Assessments & Consultations: Conduct thorough initial health screenings, fitness evaluations, and goal-setting sessions to understand individual client needs and limitations.
Customized Program Design: Develop safe, progressive, and effective personal fitness and workout plans tailored to specific client objectives, such as strength building, weight management, or functional conditioning.
Personal Training Delivery: Guide clients through one-on-one or small group training sessions, ensuring proper form, technique, and safety at all times.
Progress Tracking & Motivation: Monitor client progress on a regular basis, adjusting workout plans and providing ongoing motivation to ensure long-term adherence and results.
Scheduling & Business Management: Manage your own weekly diary and client bookings, handle communications, and maintain administrative records.
Facility & Equipment Care: Ensure all training areas and equipment are kept clean, safe, and fully serviceable during use.Requirements & Qualifications:
Recognized Level 3 Personal Training certification (or equivalent).
Valid First Aid certification and professional liability insurance.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, and progressive overload principles.
