How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Salary: £70,275 - £81,457 per annum

    The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust formed by the Diocese of Lincoln in 2013. We are a growing and thriving family of schools dedicated to providing an excellent education for pupils across Lincolnshire. We have grown to serve twenty-four academies across three local authorities of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, and North-East Lincolnshire.

    Headteacher - The Role:

    As Headteacher, you will drive the creation and implementation of a distinctly Christian vision within Whaplode Church of England Primary School. You will provide professional leadership and manage the efficient day-to-day and strategic operations of the school as part of LAAT. You will lead the school community in promoting positive attitudes to learning, work collaboratively as part of the wider Trust, and embed the values of Excellence, Exploration and Encouragement into every area of your leadership.

    Headteacher - Key Responsibilities:

    - Embed the Trust vision across the school and work with governors and community to create a local vision consistent with Trust values

    - Lead teaching and learning by supporting curriculum development, ensuring continuous focus on pupil achievement using data, and setting high expectations and stretching targets

    - Develop staff through effective induction, professional development and performance review, maintaining a culture of high expectations and celebrating achievements

    - Manage school organisation including the development of school structures, preparation of the School Development Plan and Self Evaluation document, and operational management of resources

    - Ensure accountability by defining clear staff responsibilities, working with the local board, presenting coherent accounts of educational performance, and enabling every child access to high quality teaching

    - Strengthen community links and promote positive strategies for challenging prejudice, ensuring the school collaborates with agencies to meet pupil and community needs

    - Lead as Designated Safeguarding lead, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are of the highest standard and managing the Single Central Record

    Headteacher - You:

    - Qualified Teacher Status with a successful NQT year completed and National Professional Qualification for Headship or working towards it

    - Significant experience as a Headteacher, Deputy Head or Head of School with a sustained record of school improvement

    - Understanding of Church of England mission and values, with experience working in a Church School

    - Ability to develop and maintain a clear vision, lead change with creativity and innovation, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences

    - Strong financial planning and budgetary management skills with knowledge of best value principles

    - Demonstrated expertise in effective appointment, personnel management and leading educational initiatives
