An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider at a prestigious commercial site near Liverpool Street Station.

The successful candidate will join an established engineering team, ensuring all electrical and mechanical building services operate efficiently and reliably.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, and electrical testing. You will also maintain site documentation, report issues to the Engineering Manager, and help deliver a high standard of service to the client.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Duties:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
Working on single and three-phase electrical systems.
Completing electrical installations, testing, and fault diagnosis.
Troubleshooting electrical faults and carrying out remedial works.
Maintaining motors, generators, and UPS systems.
Conducting emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
Supporting maintenance of HVAC and associated building services systems.
Working on pumps, belts, bearings, and mechanical seals.
Monitoring and operating BMS systems.
Maintaining site logbooks, reports, and compliance documentation.
Liaising with the Engineering Manager and contractors to ensure effective site operations. Requirements:
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial building maintenance.
Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of commercial building services systems.
Professional, motivated, and client-focused approach.
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop. Salary and Package:
£48,000 – £52,000 per annum.
