An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical plant and building services systems. Duties will include fault-finding, completing repairs, liaising with contractors, maintaining site logbooks, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
Maintaining air handling units (AHUs) and fan coil units (FCUs).
Servicing pumps, including bearings, mechanical seals, and strip-down repairs.
Completing water treatment duties, including tap testing, dosing, and cooling tower checks.
Maintaining cooling towers and chilled water systems.
Conducting tap temperature checks and water hygiene monitoring.
Carrying out general plumbing maintenance and repairs.
Maintaining generators and pressurisation units.
Updating site logbooks and maintenance documentation.
Liaising with contractors and supporting site compliance. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent mechanical qualification.
Previous experience in commercial building services maintenance.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of mechanical plant and maintenance procedures.
Professional approach with a willingness to learn and develop. Salary and Package:
£45,000 – £50,000 per annum.
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
