An excellent opportunity has arisen for an electrically biased Maintenance Supervisor to join a well-established building services provider at a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is a static, Monday–Friday position, offering an experienced engineer the opportunity to take the next step in their career, leading an established M&E team while remaining hands-on with day-to-day maintenance.
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee site engineering operations, allocate workloads, provide technical support, manage contractors, and ensure all PPM and reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard. You will also maintain site documentation, support compliance, and build strong relationships with the client and management team.
Maintenance Supervisor Duties:
Supervising and supporting a team of M&E engineers, allocating daily workloads and providing technical guidance.
Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
Working on motors, generators, UPS systems, and LV electrical distribution.
Overseeing plant isolations and ensuring safe working procedures are followed.
Maintaining emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.
Working with AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, and CRAC units.
Maintaining pumps, belts, bearings, mechanical seals, and sprinkler systems.
Monitoring and operating BMS systems.
Ensuring all maintenance and remedial works meet relevant safety standards and regulations.
Managing subcontractors, RAMS, permits to work, and site logbooks.
Raising, updating, and closing jobs using PDA systems.
Producing site reports and attending client meetings.
Keeping the Account Manager informed of site performance, ongoing works, and any issues.
Liaising with client representatives regarding repairs, remedial works, and maintenance requirements. Requirements:
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations.
Electrically biased, with strong commercial building services experience.
Previous experience supervising or leading an engineering team.
Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance systems.
Strong understanding of health and safety, compliance, and permit-to-work procedures.
Excellent communication, organisational, and client-facing skills.

£55,000 per annum.
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
