Key Responsibilities:
Managing direct employees, subcontractors and site activities to ensure successful project delivery
Implementing CDM checklist requirements and maintaining high standards of site compliance
Conducting site inductions, health and safety inspections and regular safety briefings
Reviewing and amending Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Issuing work permits, including permit-to-dig documentation
Co-ordinating the hire and off-hire of plant, equipment and materials
Maintaining accurate site diaries and holding daily briefings
Overseeing activities including trenching, deep excavations, reinforced concrete works, duct installation and cable pulling
Job Requirements:
Experience in site management within the power, energy, water, gas, highways or wider utilities sector
Experience as an M&E Site Manager, Cabling Site Manager or HV Site Manager
Strong understanding of trenching, deep excavations, reinforced concrete works, duct installation and cable pulling
Current SMSTS accreditation
Good knowledge of CDM regulations, RAMS, work permits and site safety procedures
Confident leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage employees and subcontractors
Full and valid driving licence, with the ability to travel between sites
