How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Teacher of Spanish - London

    Are you a passionate Spanish Teacher who enjoys helping young people build confidence and develop a real interest in languages? A secondary school in London is looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish to join its MFL department from November 2026.

    This is a full-time temporary maternity cover position and would suit an experienced Spanish Teacher, MFL Teacher or languages teacher with QTS and ability to teach A level and GCSE Spanish.

    About the Role: Teacher of Spanish - London

    You will teach Spanish across the relevant secondary year groups, creating lessons that are engaging, purposeful and accessible to students of different abilities.

    The role will involve:

    Planning and delivering enjoyable, well-structured Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4.
    * Helping students develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
    * Creating a positive classroom where students feel confident participating and making mistakes as they learn.
    * Monitoring progress and using assessment and feedback to help students improve.
    * Adapting lessons and resources to meet the needs of individual learners, including students with SEND.
    * Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.
    * Building positive relationships with students and encouraging them to take pride in their learning.
    * Working closely with colleagues within the MFL department and contributing to the wider life of the school.About You: Teacher of Spanish - London

    The school is looking for a committed and approachable Teacher of Spanish with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for language teaching.
