We're recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a friendly, supportive and well-established team based in Dorking. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexibility, whether that's around childcare, family commitments or other interests outside of work.
The Role
20-25 hours per week (depending on the individual)
Hours can be split to suit you
Ideally 2 days per week in the office
Flexible working hours, open to discussion
Salary equivalent to £36,000-£38,000 FTE (pro rata depending on hours)Responsibilities
Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses and sole traders
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Preparing end-of-month and year-end accounts
Bank reconciliations
Maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting clients with day-to-day finance queries
Liaising with accountants and clients where requiredRequirements
Previous bookkeeping experience
Experience preparing end-of-month and year-end accounts
Confident preparing and submitting VAT returns
Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
