Are you an experienced sales leader looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a successful manufacturing business?
We are seeking an ambitious UK Sales Manager to lead and develop our established UK Sales Team, driving the promotion and sales of our specialist stainless steel finishes used in prestigious internal and external cladding projects worldwide.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute sales professional with experience in a manufacturing or B2B environment who is ready to take ownership of a department, develop people, and play a key role in the future growth of the business.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, and periodically to the Managing Director and Board of Directors, you will be responsible for:
Leading, motivating and developing the UK Sales Team.
Driving sales growth, profitability and market share.
Managing pricing strategies to protect margins and reflect market conditions.
Monitoring competitor activity, pricing and product developments.
Overseeing customer service, administration and shipping processes.
Recruiting, training and developing team members.
Managing external sales personnel and ensuring effective performance.
Building strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities and markets.
Organising and attending exhibitions, trade shows and customer events.
Collaborating with senior leadership to shape departmental strategy and future growth.
Ensuring the effective use of People HR and maintaining appropriate team coverage and performance management.Regular UK and occasional international travel will be required to support business development and strengthen customer relationships.

Has proven sales management experience within manufacturing or a related B2B environment.
Has a strong track record of achieving commercial success and driving growth.
Is a natural leader who can motivate, mentor and develop an experienced team.
Possesses excellent key account management and relationship-building skills.
Is commercially aware, analytical and confident making strategic decisions.
Has strong negotiation skills with a focus on profitability and customer retention.
Can identify new opportunities and convert them into tangible business results.
Demonstrates a collaborative management style and works effectively across departments.
