An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Machine Operator to join a successful and growing manufacturing company based in Corby. With over 35 years of industry experience, our client has established a strong reputation for quality and innovation and is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join their production team.
This is a hands-on role offering full training, a supportive working environment, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established employer.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your duties will include:
Operating a variety of production machinery
Conducting visual and dimensional quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
Loading, feeding and moving materials safely throughout the production process
Carrying out routine machine lubrication and basic maintenance tasks
Using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to transport finished products into the warehouse
Following production schedules and maintenance procedures
Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and productivity at all times
About You
To be successful in this role, you should ideally have:
Previous experience within manufacturing, production, machine operation, powder coating, or a similar industrial environment
A good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
The ability to work to production targets and follow instructions accurately
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Counterbalance FLT experience or licence (advantageous but not essential)
Experience of chemical paint stripping processes within a manufacturing environment would be beneficialFull training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
