How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A leading manufacturer of precision injection-moulded components is looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter Supervisor to take the lead on its day shift. Supplying a diverse range of industries, including construction, drainage, agriculture and medical, this is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on injection moulding professional to take ownership of day-to-day operations, support the team and help drive production performance.

    Days | Up to £37,000 + Bonus + 4% Pension

This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter or Technician who enjoys being involved on the shop floor, supporting operators and ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the required quality standards.

You'll play an important role in keeping production on schedule, resolving moulding issues and ensuring the team consistently achieves its targets and KPIs.

As Injection Moulding Setter Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Setting and changing injection moulding tools and ensuring machines are correctly prepared for production.
Loading materials and managing hopper loaders.
Setting machines and applying the correct processing parameters for each production run.
Overseeing robot-assisted production processes and ensuring efficient production flow.
Supervising a small team of machine operators and ensuring production targets are achieved.
Troubleshooting moulding issues and resolving minor machine and process problems.
Identifying and addressing moulding defects to maintain consistent product quality.
Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery and tooling.
Ensuring production areas are maintained to a high standard of housekeeping, health and safety.
Monitoring production performance and ensuring KPIs and job requirements are met.

As Injection Moulding Setter Supervisor, ideally you will:

Have solid experience as an Injection Moulding Setter or Technician.
Have a good understanding of injection moulding processes, machinery, tooling and materials.
Be confident setting and changing moulds/tools and starting up production runs.
Have experience troubleshooting moulding problems and correcting common defects.
Have experience supervising or leading a small team of operators.
Be comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.

If you're an experienced injection moulding Setter/Technician who is ready to take the next step, or someone who already has supervisory experience and wants to continue developing their career then we'd love to hear from you.
