The Role
Service: Broadway Place
Location: Peterborough
Hours: Monday–Sunday | 8am–3pm | 3pm–10pm | Nights: 10pm–8am
Pay: £12.84ph, rising to £14.34ph with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (T&Cs apply)
Your Role
Support people with learning disabilities and mental health needs
Build trusting relationships through patience and consistency
Follow individual Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans to
understand triggers, recognise needs and promote positive outcomes
Respond calmly and consistently when people experience distress
Support personal care, daily routines and independent living skills
Encourage community involvement, hobbies and personal goals
Help people feel safe, heard, respected and valuedThis role includes lone working, so you’ll need to work confidently and independently, follow support plans and procedures, and know when to seek guidance.
Who This Role Is For
We’re looking for someone who is:
Caring, patient and resilient
Calm and confident when situations become challenging
Interested in mental health, learning disabilities and complex behaviours
Willing to learn and consistently follow PBS plans
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Previous care or PBS experience is required , but a genuine desire to learn and make a difference matters too.
