How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Quality Assurance and Curriculum Development Advisor

    📍 Aldridge & Telford | 💷 £30,000–£32,000 depending on skills and experience

    Are you passionate about raising standards in teaching, learning, and assessment? In-Comm Training is looking for a Quality Assurance and Curriculum Development Advisor to play a pivotal role in improving learner outcomes across our apprenticeship and technical education programmes. If you thrive on coaching others, developing innovative curriculum, and driving continuous improvement, this is the role for you.

    What We're Looking For

    We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional who brings:

    * A Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA or A1) and a Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance award (V1)

    * A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification

    * GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)

    * Proven experience in quality assurance of teaching, learning, and assessment within a training or education environment

    * Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to support and upskill staff at all levels

    * Experience in curriculum design and development, with a focus on engagement and learner progression

    * A commitment to compliance, continuous improvement, and embedding best practice

    * A Level 4 or above teaching or curriculum qualification and a coaching/mentoring qualification would be a distinct advantage
