Pay: £22.60 per hour weekdays / £23.59 per hour weekends
Hours: Bank, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position towards the new year

The role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our experienced nursing team following the retirement of a long-serving colleague. Initially offered as a bank position, there is the opportunity for hours to become permanent towards the new year.
You will provide safe, effective and person-centred nursing care while leading and supervising the care team on duty. Responsibilities include:

Assessing, planning and reviewing residents' nursing care.

Administering medication and maintaining accurate clinical records.
*
Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding to changing clinical needs.
*
Supporting residents with dementia, complex nursing, respite and end-of-life care.
*
Leading and supervising staff, delegating duties and ensuring safe care delivery.
*
Liaising with GPs, families and other healthcare professionals.
*
Maintaining safeguarding, CQC and NMC standards.
Requirements
*
Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
*
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
*
Excellent communication and teamwork.
*
Ability to lead a shift and coordinate care safely.
*
Commitment to dignity, safeguarding and person-centred care.
*
Willingness to work weekends on an ad hoc basis.
Experience in nursing homes, dementia care, palliative care or supervising staff is desirable.
