A supportive and inclusive school in Bracknell is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play an active role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to provide tailored classroom support, helping pupils engage with lessons, develop social skills, and make progress at their own pace. You may work individually with students or support small groups, adapting your approach to meet a variety of learning needs.
As part of your role, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with special educational needs
Assist students with classroom tasks and learning activities
Encourage communication, independence, and positive social interaction
Support pupils who may experience difficulties with concentration, behaviour, or emotional regulation
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environmentThe school offers a welcoming team environment with a shared commitment to helping pupils succeed.
