Hyde is looking for a Housing Team Leader to lead and support a frontline housing team, helping to deliver a proactive, customer-focused service for our customers.
As a Housing Team Leader at Hyde, you will manage and develop a team, providing guidance on complex housing matters and ensuring services are delivered effectively, in line with performance targets, contractual requirements and customer expectations.
You will also drive the delivery of a comprehensive housing service that meets the needs and expectations of residents and stakeholders, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Key Duties
Advise and support the team in handling complex housing matters, fostering a strong performance culture to meet targets and resolve enquiries at the first point of contact.
Investigate and resolve complaints about Housing and ASB services, liaising with the Partners and external stakeholders when required.
Maximise the value of resident interactions by encouraging the team to identify wider issues and make appropriate referrals to external agencies.
Oversee tenancy changes, including assignments, successions, mutual exchanges and unauthorised occupation, ensuring they are handled efficiently and in line with contractual requirements and customer expectations.

As a Housing Team Leader we’re seeking someone who can bring:
Proven line management experience, with the ability to support, motivate and develop a team.
Strong negotiation skills
Strong ability to deliver services in line with housing legislation and regulatory requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports.
