How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is more than a teaching role. You'll be part of a dedicated and supportive team that prioritises student progress, wellbeing and achievement. With smaller class sizes, a collaborative approach and the freedom to adapt your teaching, you'll have the time and space to make a genuine impact every day.

Whether you're already working within specialist education or you're an experienced Maths Teacher looking for a more meaningful and rewarding career path, we'd love to hear from you.

Deliver engaging and creative Maths lessons tailored to individual student needs

Build positive relationships that support confidence, engagement and achievement

Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to help every student succeed

Create a calm, safe and structured learning environment

Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals

Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives

Champion high standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion

    What you will bring

We're looking for a passionate and resilient Maths Teacher who believes every young person can succeed with the right support.

    QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

A student-centred approach with high expectations for all learners

    Strong relationship-building and communication skills

Experience of, or an interest in, SEND, ASD and SEMH education

The ability to motivate, engage and inspire students who may have experienced barriers to learning

A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and helping young people achieve their full potential
