How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Mobile Maintenance Engineer – Plumbing

    To 45k, + overtime and call out rates

    London | Permanent | 40 Hours | Monday–Friday

    We are looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer – Plumbing to join our clients busy maintenance team, working across a range of commercial and high-profile sites throughout London.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber who enjoys a varied mobile role, problem-solving and delivering a high standard of customer service.

    The Role of Mobile Maintenance Engineer – Plumbing

    You will be responsible for:

    * Planned preventative and reactive maintenance.

    * Fault-finding and repairs to commercial plumbing systems.

    * Domestic hot and cold water systems, booster sets, pumps, pressurisation units and TMVs.

    * Water hygiene, temperature monitoring and Legionella-related duties.

    * Minor plumbing installations and remedial works.

    * Completing digital job sheets, reports and records.

    * Working closely with clients, colleagues and subcontractors.

    * Participating in an emergency call-out rota.

    About You

    You will need:

    * City & Guilds or equivalent Plumbing qualification – essential.

    * Full UK manual driving licence.

    * Minimum 3 years' commercial building services maintenance experience.

    * Strong commercial plumbing and fault-finding skills.

    * Experience with pumps, booster sets and hot water systems.

    * Knowledge of water hygiene and Legionella requirements.

    * Good understanding of RAMS, Permit to Work and Health & Safety.

    * Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.

    * Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

    TMV, L8, IPAF, PASMA or additional mechanical/electrical qualifications would be advantageous.
