How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Ready to take the next step in your Quality career?

TN Talent Recruitment are working with an established manufacturing business looking to appoint an ambitious and proactive Assistant Quality Manager to help drive improvements, strengthen quality processes and support the continued development of their quality function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor or Quality Assurance professional who is ready for greater responsibility and wants to make a genuine difference.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just maintain quality standards but actively looks for ways to improve them.

    The Role

Working closely with the wider manufacturing and management teams, you'll play an important role in developing quality systems, improving processes and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    *

Leading quality investigations, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).

    *

Driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes and quality systems.

    *

Reviewing existing procedures, identifying areas for improvement and introducing practical, sustainable solutions.

    *

Managing non-conformances, customer quality concerns and supplier-related quality issues.

    *

Supporting the development and maintenance of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.

    *

Using quality tools and techniques and root cause analysis.

    *

Working collaboratively with production, engineering and management teams to improve quality performance.

    *

Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring appropriate documentation and corrective actions are maintained.

    *

Developing and updating procedures, work instructions and quality documentation.

    *

Monitoring quality performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements.

    *

Supporting and coaching colleagues to encourage a proactive approach to quality throughout the business.

    About You

    Ideally, you'll bring:

    *

Previous experience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, Quality Assurance or similar manufacturing quality position.

    *

A good working knowledge of ISO 9001, with ISO 13485 or experience in a regulated manufacturing environment advantageous.

    *

Experience managing non-conformances, root cause investigations and corrective actions.

    *

A practical understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and quality tools.

    *

Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to challenge existing processes constructively.

    *

The ability to work across departments and influence positive change.

    *

Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.

    *

A proactive, hands-on approach with the ambition to develop professionally.

Experience within highly regulated manufacturing sectors would be particularly beneficial.

    Why Consider This Opportunity?

This isn't simply a role focused on maintaining existing quality procedures.

It's an opportunity to help shape and develop a quality department, introduce improvements and have a real influence on how quality is managed across the business.

You'll be joining an established manufacturing operation where your ideas, experience and drive to make improvements will be valued.
