Job Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Salary: £125 per day
Contract: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)

Hours: 8.30am - 4.45pm
Location: Split between Denmark Hill, Beckenham and Camberwell - location TBC
Start Date: Oct 2026

Sanza are working in partnership with a Hospital School in Southwark & Beckenham which is a hospital school for children and young people aged 11 - 16 years who are inpatients and day patients.

Details of the role:

Has experience of providing support to individuals and groups of young people
Has achieved or is capable of rapidly gaining HLTA status
Supporting pupil learning within the classroom or at the bedside under the direction of the teacher
Potentially working in small groups or on a 1:1 basis supporting those children with individual education health care plans
Maintaining classroom resource areas, plants, books etc

Key Requirements:

Prior experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
You can work well in a team as well as show initiative
