Typical responsibilities include:
Acting as the primary technical interface between the weapon system and internal and external Equipment Design Authorities
Defining, managing and developing electrical requirements across the project lifecycle
Supporting system-level integration, verification and acceptance of equipment
Owning Statements of Work for equipment suppliers and leading technical reviews, progress meetings and project milestones
Managing technical risks and monitoring supplier delivery against cost, schedule, performance and quality requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong understanding of systems engineering and system integration within complex products
Experience defining requirements at system, subsystem or equipment level
A background in electrical integration, power distribution or equipment design, ideally within defence, aerospace or maritime environments
Experience working with external suppliers or managing technical delivery packages
Familiarity with verification, validation and certification processes, alongside experience producing technical documentation and working with configuration management tools
