How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Job title: KS2 Teacher – Bromley

    Location: Bromley, London

Salary: £39,196 - £58,120 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

    Start date: 9 November 2026

Contract: Full time, temporary, long term.

Hours: Term time; daily hours and assignment arrangements confirmed before placement.

Good questions can turn a lesson into a conversation children remember. Transparency Education is seeking a KS2 Teacher in Bromley who can develop subject knowledge while encouraging pupils to explain, investigate and think for themselves.

In this primary class teaching role, you will plan a broad curriculum and use day-to-day assessment to keep learning moving. There is room to bring your enthusiasm for books, science, history or another subject into lessons that connect with children’s interests.

    Responsibilities

    • Sequence lessons so new learning builds on what pupils already know.

    • Develop comprehension, purposeful writing and mathematical reasoning.

    • Use questioning and work samples to spot misconceptions early.

    • Give teaching assistants clear guidance on support and pupil independence.

    • Keep assessment records useful and communicate learning priorities with families.

    Requirements

    • QTS and relevant Key Stage 2 teaching experience.

    • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain ideas in different ways.

    • An organised approach to planning, feedback and inclusive classroom routines.

    • An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one as part of the recruitment process.

    What the role offers

    • A class teaching opportunity with scope to use your curriculum strengths.

    • The chance to develop pupils’ independence as well as their academic skills.

    Why work via Transparency Education?

You will have a dedicated consultant for ongoing support and guidance, with access to CPD through our in-house team of experienced senior leaders.

Our refer-a-friend scheme pays £150 for each candidate you refer after they have worked and been paid for their first 10 days. We pay in line with applicable Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).

    Apply

Apply with your CV, outlining the KS2 year groups you have taught and when you can start.

Email or call (phone number removed). Please include your availability for a 9 November 2026 start.

If you have not heard from us within two working days, your application has not progressed for this role. We may contact you about other suitable education opportunities.

    Safer recruitment

Transparency Education is committed to equality and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and appropriate safer recruitment checks
