How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Working Hours:

    * Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

    Job Description:

    As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving site facilities, infrastructure and associated equipment.

    The successful Facilities Maintenance Engineer will undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM), respond to breakdowns and ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and operational.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.

    * Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and building-services faults.

    * Maintain lighting, power supplies, HVAC, water, drainage and associated systems.

    * Inspect facilities equipment, identify potential failures and implement preventative solutions.

    * Support equipment installations, modifications and commissioning activities.

    * Coordinate external contractors, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.

    * Maintain accurate maintenance records and support statutory inspections.

    * Identify opportunities to improve reliability, energy efficiency and operational performance.

    Skills & Experience:

    To be successful as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will ideally have:

    * A recognised engineering qualification or relevant practical engineering experience.

    * Previous experience within facilities, building services, manufacturing or industrial maintenance.

    * Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills.

    * Knowledge of PPM, technical drawings and health and safety procedures.

    * Experience with HVAC, compressed air, BMS, electrical distribution or mechanical plant would be advantageous.

    * Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach.

    Experience with CMMS, contractor management, statutory compliance or IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications would also be beneficial.
