How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job title: KS1 Teacher – Bromley Location: Bromley, London Salary: £39,196 - £58,120 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Start date: 9 November 2026 Contract: Full time, temporary, long term. Hours: Term time; daily hours and assignment arrangements confirmed before placement. The first time a child reads a whole sentence independently is a moment worth working towards. Transparency Education is recruiting a KS1 Teacher for a primary school opportunity in Bromley, helping children build strong foundations in reading, writing and maths. You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class, combining clear teaching with practical activities and well-established routines. This would suit a teacher who notices the small gaps in understanding and knows how to help children take their next step with confidence. Responsibilities • Plan connected lessons across the KS1 curriculum, with clear learning goals. • Teach systematic phonics and early reading using the school’s chosen approach. • Use practical resources and discussion to develop number sense. • Adapt activities for pupils with SEND and those learning English as an additional language. • Work with support staff and families to share progress and reinforce routines. 

    Requirements • QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 1. • Secure knowledge of early literacy, phonics and primary maths. • Thoughtful assessment, positive classroom management and a collaborative approach. • An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one as part of the recruitment process.
