Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a busy manufacturing team based in Halifax.
The successful candidate will have strong fabrication and MIG welding experience, with the ability to read and work from technical drawings. This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
* Fabricate and assemble components using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment.
* MIG weld components to a high standard.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Cut, shape and modify sheet metal and other materials.
* Assemble and fit components accurately.
* Carry out quality checks on completed work.
* Use workshop equipment including grinders, cutting tools and other machinery safely.
* Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Fabricator/Welder.
* Good MIG welding skills.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Competent with hand tools and power tools.
* Good understanding of fabrication and mechanical assembly.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
* Minimum of 5 years' relevant fabrication experience required for the £17.00 per hour rate.
Pay & Hours:
* Up to £17.00 per hour depending on experience.
* £17.00 per hour available for candidates with 5+ years' relevant experience.
* Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm.
