SSA are recruiting a Mechanical Construction Manager on behalf of a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering CAT A, CAT B, and Shell & Core projects. You will oversee mechanical works on site, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring installations meet programme, quality, and Health & Safety requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Manage mechanical installations from mobilisation through commissioning and handover.
* Coordinate subcontractors, site labour, materials, and equipment.
* Monitor progress against the programme and resolve installation issues.
* Review drawings and inspect works for compliance with specifications and quality standards.
* Maintain Health & Safety standards and coordinate with electrical and wider project teams.
Requirements
* Experience managing mechanical construction works within M&E contracting.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and associated mechanical systems.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate site activities.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Relevant mechanical qualification or equivalent trade experience, with appropriate site safety certification
Salary description
£80000.00 - £85000.00 per year
