The Role
We are looking for an ALN Teaching Assistant for a range of immediate start opportunities, with full-time, part-time, short-term and long-term contracts available.
As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will support secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional learning needs, helping them to:
Engage positively with their education
Manage their individual needs
Develop confidence and independence
Make meaningful academic and personal progress
⭐ The Successful ALN Teaching Assistant Will Have:
Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within an education or ALN setting
Experience working with pupils with additional learning needs is desirable
A patient, resilient and supportive approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
