How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Home Manager Location: East Grinstead
    Salary: £70,000 per annum

    Leaders In Care are recruiting for a Home Manager to lead a care home in East Grinstead. This is an opportunity for an experienced care home manager to develop a team, champion resident wellbeing and deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

    The role As Home Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the home, creating a safe, welcoming environment where residents’ independence, choice and dignity come first.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Leading, motivating and mentoring the team to deliver compassionate, personalised care.
    Ensuring residents’ physical, emotional and social needs are met.
    Overseeing the development, implementation and review of individual care plans.
    Maintaining safe working practices and compliance with relevant legislation, policies and regulatory standards.
    Developing a clear vision and improvement plan for the home.
    Monitoring quality and driving continuous improvement.
    Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
    Promoting safeguarding awareness, reporting concerns and escalating them appropriately.About you We are looking for an experienced care home manager who brings strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing.

    You will have:

    Experience managing a care home and leading a team.
    Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments.
    A Registered Managers Award Level 4, Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or a willingness to work towards a relevant qualification.
    A sound understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
