SSA are recruiting a Project Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering CAT A, CAT B, and Shell & Core projects. You will manage the commercial aspects of your own projects, with the opportunity to progress into a Senior QS role within a short timeframe.
Key responsibilities
* Manage project budgets, cost reporting, forecasts, and commercial risks.
* Prepare take-offs, valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.
* Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, variations, and account settlement.
* Monitor costs and project changes, protecting margins and reporting performance.
* Work closely with clients, suppliers, and project teams to resolve commercial matters.
Requirements
* Quantity surveying experience within M&E contracting.
* Ability to manage project finances and subcontractor accounts.
* Knowledge of construction contracts, variations, and commercial procedures.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
* Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent industry experience
Salary description
£60000.00 - £70000.00 per year
