How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Role: Data Analyst
    Type: Contract (Inside IR35)
    Location: London (Hybrid 2-3 days per week)
    Duration: 12 months

    About the Role
    We are seeking two Data Analysts with experience within the Payments, Banking, FinTech, or Cards sector to support a range of analytical and reporting initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to work on customer analytics, performance reporting, and dashboard automation within a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    Conduct backbook segmentation and customer analytics.
    Support propensity modelling and predictive analytics activities.
    Deliver performance reporting and business insights.
    Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and MI reporting.
    Analyse large datasets to identify trends and actionable recommendations.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
    Ensure data accuracy and quality across all reporting outputs.Required Skills & Experience
    Experience as a Data Analyst within Payments, Banking, FinTech, Cards, or Financial Services.
    Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
    Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation tools.
    Knowledge of customer segmentation, reporting, and analytics.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Desirable
    Exposure to Python, R, SAS, or other analytics tools.
    Experience with propensity modelling or predictive analytics.
    Understanding of customer behaviour, transaction data, and payments products.What's on Offer
