We’re working with an established and purpose-led organisation that delivers international travel and personal development programmes for young people around the world. They’re looking for a Regional Travel Coordinator to join their team, covering the Oxford and surrounding areas.
This is a varied, people-focused role where you’ll spend plenty of time out and about, meeting organisations, delivering engaging presentations and helping families and young people understand the opportunities available to them.
You don’t need to be a traditional salesperson. They’re looking for someone who is confident, personable and genuinely enjoys talking to people, with the ability to build trust and bring opportunities to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Build strong relationships with key contacts across your region and introduce them to the organisation’s international programmes.
* Attend meetings and deliver engaging presentations to groups and stakeholders.
* Help generate excitement around international travel and the experiences available.
* Support young people throughout their journey, including providing guidance around fundraising and preparation.
* Attend information evenings and speak with families, answering questions and providing reassurance around travel, safety and logistics.
* Manage your own diary and regional travel, making the most of warm leads and appointments generated by the internal marketing and business development teams.
* Work towards individual and regional participation targets while maintaining a high level of customer service.
* Build lasting relationships and ensure groups receive a smooth handover to the wider partnership team.
What We’re Looking For
This role would suit someone who is naturally confident, outgoing and enjoys being around people.
You might come from a background in:
* Travel and tourism
* Education or youth work
* Customer service
* Account management or relationship management
* Events or hospitality
* Sales or business development
* More important than your exact background is your personality, communication skills and ability to connect with different people.
You’ll need to be:
* Confident speaking to groups and presenting information.
* Comfortable meeting senior stakeholders and building professional relationships.
* Warm, approachable and genuinely customer-focused.
* Organised and able to manage your own diary and workload.
* Motivated by achieving targets without taking a hard-sell approach.
* Happy working from home while travelling regularly throughout your region.
* A full UK driving licence holder.
What’s In It For You?
* Uncapped performance bonus – £40,000+ OTE in Year 1
* Fully expensed company car, laptop and mobile phone
* Monday–Friday working, 8:00am–4:30pm (hours after this time may be required)
* Home-based role with regional travel
* Excellent training and development
* Opportunities to travel overseas and experience the programmes first-hand
* A genuinely rewarding role where you’ll help create memorable experiences for young people
Interested?
If you’re looking for something a little different from a traditional office-based sales or customer service role and love the idea of combining travel, people and purpose, we’d love to hear from you
