How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Salary is £26,000 with a realistic uncapped OTE of £40,000.

This is an opportunity for you to broaden your commercial capability, whilst helping shape the next phase of Gigaclear's consumer growth model at a pivotal point in its commercial journey.

This role sits within the Growth POD, responsible for converting new customer demand across inbound sales, web leads, field-generated leads, partner referrals, and outbound acquisition activity.

The role is designed for a commercially focused advisor who can work quickly, consistently and with strong judgement to turn demand into high-quality orders.

This is not a traditional Inside Sales / Telesales role. The Growth POD will operate as part of a wider B2C commercial engine, using shared data, shared priorities, and common commercial standards to support acquisition, retention, and field-led growth.

This could be suitable for an experienced Inside Sales or Telesales Advisor looking for a new challenge.

    Or

Someone who is actively pursuing a career in sales and is looking for a company that will provide you with a structured sales apprenticeship, supported by an experienced sales training partner and programme.

Note: this is an office-based role and as we need to contact some customers out of hours, there is one late shift, from 11am to 7.30pm per week and one Saturday (can be worked from home) in four, with time off in lieu the following week.

    What you will do:

    New customer conversion:

Convert inbound sales enquiries into clean, high-quality customer orders

Work web leads, abandoned baskets, field-generated leads, and partner referrals to agreed contact standards

Use clear questioning to understand customer needs and recommend the right package, at the right price, in the right way

    Lead management and follow-up:

Work assigned leads promptly and consistently, maintaining clear notes, outcomes and next actions

Prioritise activity based on campaign focus, customer intent, and lead source quality

Follow agreed call cadences and escalation routes to maximise conversion from every demand source

    Commercial quality and value:

Balance sales volume with ARPU, TCV, product mix, and long-term customer value

Promote value-added products and appropriate package options where they meet customer needs

Maintain high order quality, accurate attribution, and full compliance with sales process standards

    POD contribution and flexibility:

Contribute to daily POD performance through strong activity levels, quality conversations, and clear pipeline management

Support adjacent commercial activity where required, including recovery, outbound campaigns, or retention overflow

Share customer and competitor insight with the Commercial Manager to improve campaigns, propositions and handoffs

    About You

Commercially minded with experience in Inside Sales, Telesales or Customer Conversion / Acquisition.

A Graduate or experienced Customer Advisor, actively looking to pursue a career in sales.

Confident handling inbound and outbound activity with pace, resilience, and strong call control.

Able to balance conversion, customer value, compliance, and long-term customer outcomes.

Comfortable using systems, campaign lists, and performance feedback to improve daily results.
